The Biggest Night in Music

gotta’ tell ya the Grammy’s are the biggest night in music….I know my friends at MTV would disagree with the VMA’s and all, but believe me when I tell you, the Grammy’s are it! I actually had the honor last year to cover the Grammy’s out in LA for the 48th annual awards ceremony and the feeling you get from all the artist’s who are nominated and even the ones who aren’t, but love to be around the energy, is AMAZING!! Every artist knows’ that the little golden gramophone is the award of all awards in the music industry. Check it out:

The award shows on it’s 49th ceremony and this year will be huge!!! Last year the performances were SICK! Remember the opening act when Madonna performed with the “life size holograms” of the Gorillaz? Nuff said! This year Justin Timberlake is taking the stage with one lucky unknown artist who’s unsigned and ready to get noticed…CRAZY!!! Speaking of Crazy…Gnarles Barkley is nominated for a couple Grammy’s this year, against Justin Timberlake too! Personally I think it’s gonna’ be the year of Mary! Mary J Blige is leading the pack with 8 nominations! She crushed at the Billboard awards in Vegas, so Staples Center get ready cause here comes Mary! Other big nods went out to almost all of our 20on20 friends! Be on the look out for the Red Hot Chili Peppers with 6 nom’s, James Blunt and Beyonce’ with 5, Justin Timberlake’s got 4, Nelly Furtado’s up for 1, Chris Brown’s going for the “Best New Artist” Grammy, and the list goes on and on and on! Some other names to be lookin’ out for, John Mayer, Dixie Chicks, and Carrie Underwood (if she wins I hope she doesn’t blow off the American Idol guys like Kelly Clarkson did last year)!

It’s definitely music’s BIGGEST night and if I’m not there…I’ll be in front of a TV February 11th !!!
